AND SUDDENLY YOU NEED THIS. DINNER FOR 2 WORTH $150 AT THE CHAMPAGNE ROOM, SURRY HILLS. The weekend is nigh. Good plan: meet with bestie, champagne, dancing. Better plan: all of the above, plus you $150 to spend on whatever your heart desires in the stunning new Champagne Room at the Winery, while honouring your new favourite champagne... Perrier-Jouët. Consider this your weekend duty. All you have to do is email us your details to be in the draw to win: [email protected] The Keystone Group is sah hot right now and they’ve recently opened Australia’s first Perrier-Jouët champagne bar with the launch of Champagne Room, on the upper level of The Winery. Champagne Room is a stunning new concept fitted with decadent booths, replete with a champagne bell (lighting up the waiter station whenever one needs a flute topped up) and commanding views of the city skyline by day and the sparkling lights (and bubbles) by night. Following in the footsteps of famous international Champagne hotspots at London’s finest champagne bars Duke’s Hotel and Harvey Nichols, Champagne Room will show you an impressive list of fine champagne including Perrier-Jouët’s Belle Époque 2006 by the flute (the only venue in Australia to offer this exceptional wine by the glass) and bottle. Curated by The Keystone Group’s Creative Director Paul Schulte, Champagne Room is a leather-clad stunner, designed for intimate groups reflecting a French art de vivre meets Sydney nightlife. “Surry Hills nightlife is about to house one of the most exciting new bars in Sydney. We’ve created a seeming synthesis of comfort and a unique escape for Sydney’s champagne lovers.” What Sydney’s champagne society needs to know: * They’ve curated the perfect indulgent, gourmet pairing of the Calvisius Oscietra caviar with a flute of Perrier-Jouët or Champagne Mumm on offer. Weekend guests will be rewarded with a seafood-led brunch of freshly shucked oysters, Harvey Bay scallops and Cloudy Bay prawns. Those dining late can test their senses with champagne matched to Black Angus Scotch Fillet, Whole Lobster Tail or Poached Skull Island Prawns with their chosen vintage. * Keystone’s highly awarded Sommelier Sarah Limacher continues to impress with a list of first class Australian and international wines, while Group Bar Manager Jason Williams has developed the finest cocktails reflecting very French and very-chic champagne inspired mélanges. * Gone is the notion of sipping champagne to solely mark a milestone or a special occasion. Champagne Room offers an insight into a twenty-first century bourgeoisie and gives you permission to drink champagne at any time of day. Not that you needed permission, but it’s nice to have their support. * Champagne room will be open every evening from 5pm til late and 11am on Saturdays and Sundays. Champagne Room welcomes passionate champagne lovers and promises variety for those simply looking for the ideal spot for drinks with friends. Someone once said that humility is a virtue. Definitely wasn’t this place...
