ANGER ISNT COST-EFFECTIVE (11/12/14) I was thinking this morning about how we see ourselves in other people’s eyes. Anything we hate in other people is usually something about ourselves we despise. So its important to realize - and remember - that we are all particles of God, and that every person we project negativity upon is really just another way we project it back upon ourselves. Shabda - and Shabda meditation - have taught me this lesson over and over again. When I’m angry at somebody at work, if somebody pushes my buttons and I get into a reactive mode (even if it might appear to be justified), it just ricochets right back on me - like an instant karmic mirror. So to me angers not cost-effective. If I feel irritable, I to deal with it. I don’t deny it if it’s occurring. But to get angry on any level is not cost-effective. The outcome for me does not warrant what is put into it, because I feel ill afterwards. So I find it better in my life to constantly return my attention to the harmony of harmonies and release my anger, irritation, frustration etc. into ITs Current of Love and, like a spiritual shower, let the Current wash all the negativity away - like cosmic Calgon. :) In the LightSong of Eternal Love, Have a Beautiful Day!
