ANNOUNCING: OUR 2014 ENTRY STATS Were thrilled to report that our 11th Anniversary Year has been another record-breaker! A total of 6,079 scripts were entered in this years PAGE Awards competition, submitted by writers from all across the United States and 78 foreign countries. During the past few months it has been huge fun to watch your screenplays arriving from all corners of the planet, and we thought you might like to see where all of our contestants live and write, as well. So, thanks to Google, we created a special interactive map pinpointing all the countries represented in this year’s contest. Just click the link below to view our 2014 Map of Contestants. Use your cursor to zoom in and get a closer view. And to see how many scripts we received from your country or state, click on the blue flag icon. When you look at these numbers, its important to remember that - although we received over 6,000 entries this year - the PAGE Awards actually functions as ten small, highly-focused contests, so right up until the Final Round your screenplay is only competing with other scripts in the exact same genre. Plus, we award Gold, Silver, and Bronze Prizes in each of our ten genre categories, so your odds of winning are vastly increased! Most importantly, all of our Judges are working professionals in the film and television industry, and at each level of competition your script is being reviewed by Judges who have a special interest and expertise in your genre. This helps maximize your chances of advancing in the contest and getting noticed by Judges who may want to option your script or work with you further!
