ANNOUNCMENT!!!!!! Guess what???? DIVE ACADEMY ARE GOING TO THE CANARY ISLANDS AND YOU ARE WELCOME TO JOIN THE FUN!!! DIVING HOLIDAY TO FUERTEVENTURA.... Read the poster but please also read the following information for the finer details of what is involved. On January 19th 2015 Gary and Wayne along with as many friends who want to come (divers and none divers welcome so bring your partner or friends) will be going to Caleta de Fuste on the big rock Fuerteventura... Canary Islands. We will be there for 7 nights with departure flight on 19th January and return flight on 26th January. We will be doing 5 days of diving of 2 dives per day morning and afternoon with a surface interval for a coffee and lunch between dives. The cost of the diving is €300 per person for 10 dives but unfortunately this cannot be reduced if you decide not to do every dive no matter what the reason so guys... overdose on vitamin C before we go and remember to pack your sea sick tablets if you suffer. Monday - Arrival day with free airport transfer, drop off equipment to the dive centre, locate accomodation and take a medical if required. Tuesday - 2 dives Wednesday - 2 dives Thursday - 2 dives (Corralejo with Mar y Mas Dive Centre) Friday - 2 dives Saturday - 2 dives with final diving day BBQ party at the dive centre in the evening Sunday - Beach day nursing hangovers Monday - Fly home with free airport drop off Accommodation is also included in the price and is €150 per person based on 2 sharing one studio apartment. Do not worry if you are flying alone as we will buddy you up to keep this price. That said you do also have the option to stay in your own room but you will have to pay the full price of €300 for the room but sharing is cheaper and more fun. One final option is to have three in one room (2 single beds and a sofa bed) and is €400 in total so will be cheaper overall at €133 each. When you contact us please indicate your preference so if you are alone but want to share we need to know and we will find you a buddy or two if you dont mind three in a room. Also, please bare in mind that the accommodation is basic being a studio apartment with a fridge, microwave and kettle and all other expected stuff like a toilet and beds. We plan to eat out or bbq this week and Gary and I know some pretty cheap places to eat and drink that are fricken awsome. We will introduce you to Gary half cut diamond on karaoke night in Hemmingways. Flights.... they are not included in the price and you are responsible for booking your own flights. Please start looking now and check every day for a cheap enough flight on the 19th January and return on 26th January. Medical.... Here in Spain dive Insurance is a legal requirment and of course is recommended anyway however, in Fuerteventura it is a legal requirment to have a medical and not neccesary to hold insurance. Off the top of my head the price was around €20 - €25 euros in Fuerteventura and can be done on day one of the holiday. If you find it cheaper in your local doctor then please bring this with you along with your diving licences, insurance if you hold it and passports. Dive gear - If you want your own kit with you book it onto your flight however the dive centre has rental kit should you need it. You can also suppliment yourt kit with rental so if you want to leave your heavy stuff and take, masks, computers and regs then rent the rest thats up to you. Payment - To book your place we need a deposit of only €50 per person payable by paypal, cash or bank transfer and the remainder will simply need to be paid before the start of the holiday. This deposit is none refundable but you can cancel up to one week before the flight and we can cancel your accommodation for free. Or tell a friend to take your place. We will then discuss the deposit payment and arrange for it to be paid at which point your accommodation will be booked and you should start to book your flights. We have 8 confirmed places with staff and close diving friends so it is going to be soooo much fun and there is no limit to places.
