APHC condemns harassment of its leaders in Pattan Srinagar, October 06 (G.K): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference, terming the territory as a police state, has strongly denounced the harassment of its leaders by Indian police. The APHC spokesman in a statement in Srinagar said that the delegation comprising leaders of Hurriyet’s public affairs cell, Hakeem Abdul Rashid, Abdul Rashid Untoo, Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi and Yasin Mohammad Malik, was returning from Sheeri area of Uri after concluding the public contact program when it was intercepted by the contingents of police at Pattan. He said that the delegates were first kept in Pattan Police Station and then were shifted to Sheeri Police Station. The spokesman said that the leaders were treated like petty criminals and were subjected to mental torture. He said that the way the leaders were harassed, only reflected the policy of political retribution undertaken by the puppet administration
