APPEAL: Did you witness a serious assault in the Glassworks pub in Rugeley on Friday 23 May? Were appealing for witnesses as part of our investigation into the incident of disorder which happened at around 11.30pm in the area of the dance floor and involved around 15 to 20 people. During the incident a 27-year-old man from Rugeley was assaulted with a glass causing him significant facial injuries that required hospital treatment. As part of the investigation, a 38-year-old male from Rugeley and a 22-year-old man from Cheslyn Hay, were arrested on Tuesday 10 June and they remain on police bail pending further enquiries. A number of people helped the victim when he was injured and we want to hear from anyone who may have seen something.
