APPEAL TO DELEGATES ON SATURDAYS BURUTU FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY PDP PRIMARY ELECTION. My dear delegates. Since everyone in the LGA do not have the locust standi to vote in and vote out aspirants from our dear party for the now i plead with you passionately that you should all do the needful by selecting a credible leader that can truly and sincerely deliver us from bad leadership. Burutu is indeed one of the most dirty and worse Local Government Area in the entire country with so many suffering from untold hardships with no remedy in sight, Zero Infrastructure, mismanagement of funds, abandoned projects litters the entire LGA especially in Burutu community which is the headquarter, steadily increasing spate of unemployment and empowerment of any kind. In fact for the purpose of argument that may arise from this, let me use the headquarter as a reference focal point. If as at this time Burutu is so neglected and has been relegated to this level then more dangers awaits us, the town has been reduced to a mere dust bin with no light to at least see rats that petches on the refuge bin. I mean Burutu has been in darkness throughout and so dirty. There had been no meaningful legislation to better our people in the LGA at large, no influence to bring anything that can put smile on our faces. It is indeed very sardonic, terrible, terrific and terrifying as our LGA has become a means to an end. The Delta State School of Marine Technology is about to be splitted to Kwale and Gbaregolo with our leaders not accessible to come to our rescue. I mean the only Ijaw tertiary institution in the State is about to be broken into different communities within the state which is unheard of and our leaders that are suppose to talk have done nothing about this matter instead they became our enemies without picking calls to hear what the dying members of their constituency have to say. What a pathetic situation. Burutu LGA is long overdue to receive an all round development practically and not politicizing its development in theories. Hence our delegates should please and please not contribute in suffering and punishing us further by selecting the wrong ones that will not mean well for us. This is 38 years since our Lga was created but look at were we are today. Our Local Government leadership should also learn from this as previous administrations had come to contribute in no smaller measure in worsening the dreaded state we finds ourselves. We need leaders to solve the problems of their jurisdictions and not to met out massive punitive political expedition on them. We are far lagging behind and there is this need to bridge this gap hence our delegates should please give us a leader that will always put his people first and attend to them at the point of their needs with legislative impacts. We need people on a rescue mission to salvage us because we are dying day in and day out politically and otherwise. I dont want to write a book on it hence i rest my case here as i believe our delegates will not fail to produce a sellable candidate to contribute his quota in leap frogging us from the negative show of dereliction and the lobotomized pattern of leadership. If we as a people do not do something positive about this administrative menace i foresee that we are heading to extinction as FORCADOS, a one time Capital/administrative headquarter of our Country has been forgotten that is the same way our LGA especially Burutu Town is going.
