ARE THESE THE END DAYS OF OUR REPUBLIC .....Many folks are finally beginning to become aware of the attack on the freedoms and the principles upon which this nation was built. This attack is surely not just in recent times however as we all are beginning to realize. Lines are drawn and dissention is allowed and little by little the forces who wish to establish control have been winning these battles over ideology. It has been happening for over 100 years and many find it peculiar that we are just now beginning to notice. I guess that life was good enough, or we were too secure at times to even notice, or was it that controlling interests were more effective at indoctrination? ..... Today we see an all out frontal attack on so many things that we once thought could never be changed or challenged. We see that we do not have the right to choose to be free from someone or something which is contrary to our beliefs. We are accused of hate when we do not like something or when the behavior of others is against our morals and we dare to speak out. The most frightening aspect of all of the social challenges is when Government begins to force people to do things that are against their morals or values. .....People were labeled as the Religious Right and vilified and sadly they said little. Oh, sure there were spokesmen for this group but they too were belittled and depicted as radical. We heard words used to describe the Religious Right such as moral majority and silent majority and although labels are often stereotypical, did it even make a difference as to what these folks were called? The deafening silence and the live and let live mentality as well as the it will never happen here approach to all of these things has begun to make a drastic swing in favor of those who wish that God and freedom only applies to them. Those, who we on the right allowed to live and let live are now not allowing the Religious Right to do the same. ....So, the day is upon us to actually come out of this mentality of not rocking the boat; this live and let live and silent majority status to stand up and fight for what we believe in. The time is short as evidenced by the rapid changes to our governmental control in respect to social change, and one might say that some in government are actually driving these changes. Is it that they are afraid of us, or is it that they think that we are too afraid to fight back? So far, they are correct! .....Please notice that I did not specify and particular religious ideology in this. Anyone who has moral and principled outlooks and expects that their personal right to live under those principles is included here. What will we do? KaBlume
