ARE WE REALLY READY...for a RelationShip??? Ive come to see these two things as pointers to success in a relationship. (From the word relationship, “Relate, and Shipâ€) It’s not how far but how well but the simple truth is that most relationships have been the opposite of what it should be in its real sense. Many just go into relationships just for the fun of being in one whereas going into one should be in consideration of these two things: How well do we Relate with each other, and are we really ready to board the Ship of a journey that might seem endless? The need to relate together in a relationship is very important, it is the bedrock of every relationship and it goes a long way to build a lasting and joyful union. As a matter of fact nothing equals the power of relating together. To keep a relationship, theres the need to relate together as one and in doing that we get to accomplish more than we can ever imagine. Looking at the fact that a ship is a means of transportation, I asked myself the importance of this four-letter word in relationship, then I got to understand that being in a relationship truly does entail embarking on a journey. If I may ask do we really understand what it takes to board a ship? Do we really understand the risk of being on a ship? Particularly when the ship is in the middle of the sea, at that moment we look back, front, left and right and the only thing we see is just the deep blue and sea. When the journey seems endless and the only thing we do at this moment is hope that we get ashore somewhere. That’s the true translation of what actually happens whenever we are in a relationship. We can easily go with the options of going back, right or left but then, at the end of the day, it still boils down to certain choice making and deciding. We either see these things as the best option or step to take in our relationship “failure†or we move forward and endure whatever is goin to happen and be happy with our life as is. But then why would anyone want to be in a relationship thats just a waste of time and resources? If our relationships will ever workout we really need to be very conscious of these two facts; relate and ship knowing fully well that the combinations of these two different letters brings about the word relationship. So if I may ask once again, are we really ready to Relate and board a Ship of an endless journey? ~OLUMIDEVOICE
