ARE YOU MY STORYTELLER? No you are not!; Is this a story or a picture? Well read on: For When you (I) pass through the waters, I (He) will be with you (me). . . . —Isaiah 43:2; and All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. —Psalm 139:16. Dear Friends, a story is like a bus: a good one will pick you up wherever you are and drop you off somewhere else. A faulty one will abandon you in the middle of the road. Likewise, a good story has a good ending and a bad story has a bad ending but preferably, every story also needs a good ending. For example, some of the best stories have a happy ending, in which the main characters live “happily ever after.” Whereas, a really good story gives you good hints as it goes along, but it also leaves you wondering how the characters will eventually get there. However, if you’re like me and you long for that happy ending, in a form of a story, look at this picture a nice photographer took of me on Mothers Day 2014. It has a pleasant scene where I am enjoying the beautiful Nova Scotia weather in lovely surroundings and in a relaxed mood. You see, I don’t shape my stories but they shape me to be who I am today. As every twist and turn in my narrative has been carefully arranged step in God’s process of shaping me into the image of Christ; and for helping me become the person God has called you to be. So trust in God as He leads YOU to write your story because God is our author and He wants us to trust him for the best possible story line. Finally, my friends, PERSEVERE until you have a happy ending to your story. Have a fabulous weekend, First Lady Rosamond Quartey Flr (July 11, 2014).
