Looking for a volunteer… Are you interested in working as an animal care attendant, vetenerian or dog trainer and need some practice and do you want to spend some weeks on Phuket? Then you are welcome at the Phuket Dog Resort Co., Ltd. as a volunteer ! For me it is very important to have someone who is not afraid of dogs and also not of bad looking/injured dogs and willing to give a helping hand for all the things here around, in which not only the dogs are involved. I have 4 Shelters (more like a living room) for the dogs but in the most cases the owners want the V.I.D. service (Very Important Dog) so that the dog stays 24/7 around us and sleep with us in the house. I have the possibility here, to take care for up to 20 dogs including my own 5 dogs. Following a short overview of the work… preparing dog food, medication, grooming/bathing, cleaning work around the shelters, plot and house, dog training (single lessons and group training), walks with the dogs, administrative work, visits at the vetenerian. That is only a short overview for the things I have every day to do here and beside of that a lot of other things, like the work with the strays. For your help I will give you free room and board.
