ARE YOU PUSHING YOURSELF TOO HARD? We all have some goal or dream we wish to achieve in our lives. For this goal we work so hard and try to be the best of what we can be. But sometimes we get too focused on getting that one goal in our lives that we do not notice that we are neglecting our very own happiness. You may be pushing yourself too hard for the wrong reasons. Here are six signs you are pushing yourself too hard. Being aware of them may help you see your true purpose and be able to get to your goal faster. Worry If you wake up in the morning and start to worry about the things you have not done, the pile of things you need to do or the problems you need to resolve within the day and beyond then you are not on the right track. If you are happily going for your dreams your morning should be filled with positive thoughts. You should be thinking about milestones and mini-goals that you can accomplish to bring you closer to your grand goal. Worry has no place in the life of a winner. Take one task at a time and do your tasks the best way you can. You cannot do more than what you are capable of. Unhappy They say that if you love what you do, you will never have to work for the rest of your life. If you are unhappy with where you are and what you are doing then maybe you should rethink your career choices. Success does not always equal money. You are successful if you find a job that you love and will love doing for the rest of your life. It will always have its challenging moments but you should be happy. Cranky Have you found your temper to be shorter lately? Do you seem to lose patience with people and things around you? It may not be just the age getting to you but the over working and the sleepless nights you do to gain success faster. You should be able to balance rest and work to function properly. Your people skills play a vital role in your success. Always Tired If you are not cranky then another sign of over working is fatigue. You may find yourself falling asleep while doing your work or yawning in the middle of an office meeting. You should be aware of this and turn things around. If there is nothing wrong with your health then it may just be a psychological tiredness that is coming over you. Find ways to destress after a long day of work. Undiagnosable Pains and Sickness Work related stress has also been a trend in our modern times. You may be feeling some pain or you may be feeling sick all the time but when you get to the doctor they do not find anything wrong with you. If this happens, then it is clear that you are working too hard. Look up some stress relieving activities you can do and snap out of that state as soon as you can. Feeling lost Lastly, if you look to the future and feel like you are going nowhere then it may just be time to rethink your goals and try to make a change for the better. Ask yourself, what you would want to do for the rest of your life. The answer is there and once you find it, go for it.
