ARREST FOR ASSAULT WITH A DANGEROUS WEAPON: On 09-08-14 Weston Police received a 911 call reporting an argument between two men in which a handgun was shown. Weston officers responded to the North Weston location. Upon arrival Officer Dan Costa located the victim. He alerted Officer Costa to another male at the location that, according to the victim, pointed a handgun at him. Officer Costa ordered the male suspect to the ground at gun point and he was taken into custody. A .32 caliber stainless steel handgun was recovered from the suspect’s pants pocket. Investigation at the scene revealed that the argument began over the suspect confronting the victim over possibly littering from his vehicle as he drove by him. According to the victim the argument escalated and the male pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the victim. The suspect, identified as Stirling Taylor, 56, of Natick was placed under arrest for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon. He was booked at the Weston Police Department and transported to Waltham District Court. A record check revealed that Taylor did have a valid license to possess the handgun. Lt. Thomas Kelly
