The recently outed singer wants to do “weird roles.” “Hindi, seryoso. Alam mo, lagi nila akong pinagtatawanan, gusto kong maging halimbawa serial killer, ganyan,” she told ABS-CBN Hollywood correspondent Yong Chavez in an interview aired on “Mornings @ ANC” Charice is also open to returning on the US musical TV series “Glee,” where she first appeared as Sunshine Corazon back in 2010. Given the chance, the Pinay singer wants to be cast in a recurring role of a lesbian, noting how the TV show supports LGBT issues. “I would still love to to play Sunshine. Very open, very sobrang inspirational dahil totoo,” said she. In an earlier report on ABS-CBNNews , Charice revealed that she’s planning to appear anew on “Oprah” and “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” which launched her global career. For now, Charice is gearing to sing the US National Anthem at the 2013 MLB Beacon Awards, that pays tribute to people who fought for equal rights, on Aug. 24 in Chicago, where she is also set to meet Oprah Winfrey, who gave her a break in the international scene.
