ASEAN: THE POTENTIAL MARKETS FOR INVESTORS IN NEXT 20 YEARS along with the RISE OF TIGER CUB ECONOMICS. ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) consisting of Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, The Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Brunei, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar is judged as POTENTIAL PROFITABLE MARKETS FOR INVESTORS IN NEXT 20 YEARS. According to IMF statistics 2013, ASEAN has the CROWDED POPULATION of 615 million people (nearly half of China population and higher than EU, USA’s population) and reached the good GROWTH RATE OF 5.5% IN GDP in comparison with The Asian Tigers – South Korea3.6%, Taiwan 3.9%, and Hong Kong 3.5%. Several ASEAN economics have kept the good growth despite the latest crisis. Following the Four Asian Tigers is the RISE of TIGER CUB ECONOMICS which refer to Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines (6%, 6.3%, 4.7% and 4.8% growth in GDP, respectively). HSBC’s report included such countries in the list top 50 economies in 2050 and Goldman Sachs - an American multinational investment banking founded in 1869- included Indonesia and the Philippines in their Next Eleven list of economies. Nowadays, ASEAN has been expanding their cooperation with other economics such as China, USA, South Korea, Hong Kong, India, etc.
