ASK WHATSOEVER YOU WANT Jn 11:22 but even now I know, that WHATSOEVER thou shalt ask of God, God will give thee. Jesus was clear here, we can ask WHATSOEVER we want. And some people may say: if we ask evil things, will God give it? Ok... Relax! If you want to ask something to God, you must come before Him. But if you come before Him, you must have a pure heart. Mt 5:8 Blessed [are] the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Whatsoever a person pure in heart asks of God, it must be in line of His will. The problem of people is that they dont understand 1Jn 5:14 And this is the boldness which we have towards him, that if we ask him ANYTHING according to his will he HEARS us. Here there is a problem of punctuation, there is a , between anything and according. The word cant contradicts himself. If Jesus didnt put any conditions, in what you ask, in Jn 11:22, so John also couldnt. But the condition that John put here is about the manner you ask. Because he (John) didnt say after: ... He gives us, but he said: ... He HEARS us. And God never say no ; if you dont receive what you expect in your prayer, it doesnt mean that God says no because it doesnt line with His will, but He hasnt heard your prayer, because you didnt ask according to His will. If you want to be abundant, ask God, its not a problem if you have a pure heart and if you ask in faith. Paul said in 2Cor 8:20-21 avoiding this, that any one should blame us in this abundance which is administered by us; for we provide for things honest, not only before the Lord, but also before men. Dont hear people saying that you love money, its not to them that you ask, its to God ; and God knows your heart, He knows your motivations. Blessed be His name forever! Amen
