ASK basic training I have been training at the spa for 3 weeks now, 5 DAYS A WEEK IS 15 WORK OUT TO THIS DAY, MY goal is to have 100 work outs and see where I am at that time, I run and walk 1.3 miles then do machine bench press, THE past 3 weeks I have used light weight HIGH reps THIS week I will do heavy weight and lower reps, I don’t want to get big, MY goal is to look my best at my age and keep my weight down to a good weight, Maybe about 190 or so BENCH press, THE way I am doing this is I started out light for almost a month, I tell people to go slow the 1st month, SO the body can get used to what is must do now, OTHER teacher think if they train you hard the 1st day really get u working, ALL they are doing is pushing most people away, THEY get tired and sore and lazy, IF you take your time get them started and settled in doing working out then have the training get harder, IF they do a hard work out for one month and then stop U have nothing, IF the person takes their time gets in to doing the daily and weekly work outs they can keep that up for a life time, A hard work out is nothing, YOU are doing nothing if you are not doing it a year from that day and a year from that day then YOU have something going on PEOPLE in the GYM and KARATE school, I sit back and pay attention to how people are about them selfs when doing such sports, PRIDE EGO all that stuff will not serve you well in doing this, IF U or I think we are better then everyone else, YOU are a fool, IF you think u can beat everyone else and u can’t lose, YOU are a fool, IF you are training so u can pick on or control others with your new found power, YOU are a fool TRAINING is all about you doing your best and finding out who U really are in life, EXCEPT it and make it better each day, LEARN as much as U can about everything you can, THAT is what training used to be about, PEOPLE did not train their body’s after work, IT was their work, IT is what they did, BACK in the day, IF you where not strong enough to keep what you have someone will be happy to take it off of you and it is still the same with a little less violence most of the times TRAINING must become a part of your life, YOU can’t train well if you are doing IT for the wrong reasons, YOU have to really want to be a better person or you will not stay with it and or will never be that good at it, IF not good at something? WHY DO IT?
