ATTENTION: ALL WOMEN OF AFRICAN DESCENT FOR GLOBAL CONFERENCE CALL!!!!! Greetings All, and thank you for your interest in joining our efforts to mobilize and organize for the Harambee Pan African Womens Conference Call, what we hope will be the first of many. This event was inspired by a number of Queens who are engaged with the Congress of African People (CAP). CAP has nearly 2500 Queens in its Nation Building Womens Room, with a total of 16,000 African people from all seven continents, and over 50 groups with diverse interests. CAP has mainly been an online social network group, but now because of our association with the Friends of the African Union and our organization skills,, we are beginning to build institutions in our respective African and Diaspora communities. We have already begun building a Pan African Youth Empowerment Movement based in Ghana and Uganda, called Simba Wachanga (Young Lions). The Congress wishes to take advantage of International Womens Month to organize this Conference Call for a Grassroots Pan African Womens Movement. Because of the interest generated by this Conference Call, we will have to reset the date from March 30 to the 12th or 19th of April in order to send out Press Releases and make notifications to our Global Pan African affiliates and social networks. Consensus for the Reset date, permanent name, structure, agenda, public relations/outreach, and other miscellaneous items will be addressed in our first ORGANIZING CONFERENCE CALL, THIS WEDNESDAY, 6PM EASTERN TIME, AT COORDINATES, 213 493 0700, PIN 106132#.. These coordinates are courtesy of the Friends of the African Union, which has offered collaboration of its Womens Congress, headed by Professor Franchesska Berry. Sister Zakiyah Perry of St. Louis and Ghana is working on Drafts of Principles of Unity and Principles of Cooperation which can serve as guides for this GRASSROOTS BODY to come together.and to engage in meaningful activity on behalf of our Global Community. Thus, we have participation already from representatives in Brazil, Canada, Virgin Islands, England, Jamaica, Ghana, Cape Verde. With the proper structure and programming, this Womens Movement of Pan African Women can and will become a major force on the World Stage.
