I mentioned a few times in my posts about 2 projects that Im embarking on. After the official legal work and the 1st meeting which lasted 5 hours yesterday, Im ready to REVEAL 1 of my projects. Im a businessman who believes in opportunities. I have launched my own independent RECORD LABEL! With the help of my business partners, we are EXCITED about this NEW VENTURE. WE ARE READY TO GO. Announcing BRIGHT EYES RECORDS, LLC. Wow, lets get the show on the road. You might ask, where did BRIGHT EYES come from? I Love My Brother by Were Related grandmother, who is now deceased, use to call me Bright Eyes when I was a child. I figure since Im the Founder/President, the name should have something to do with me. Also NO ONE else had that name as a business. In a few short weeks, we will be introducing 3 of our NEW artists, and you will hear a little of what they can do. It is time to shake up this industry. I will personally handle the Smooth Jazz portion of the label, and one of our managers, and producers will handle the R&B and Urban Soul and Rap portion. Others who are our sources and major connections in the industry, are helping us. We are working on the logo, social media pages, web sites, studio time, production, mixing, mastering, video, photos, radio, TV, touring, marketing, budgets, etc. Im asking that my family and friends pray for us and support us. Im the VISIONARY, but others who have been in the industry for years, and understand it are doing most of the work.
