ATTENTION HERE!! Does anyone agree that we should make some kind of petition that bans songs from translation from 2015 onwards. When people vote for a song, they dont only vote for instrumental parts and rhyme, they also vote for lyrics. Some songs, like Iceland and Albania managed to keep the same meaning even after translation (although Hersi sounds like her mouth are full of hot potatoes when singing in English), but for instance, Macedonia totally mangled its song with translation. Many times countries do. Also, this year there is an overcrowd of English songs. Less than 10 songs are sung partially or completely in a language other than English. I have an idea to start a petition that would ban language translations. If you want an English song, then write it that way.
