!!!ATTENTION RAYMONDVILLE RESIDENTS!!!: Every question that I asked in this post, actually was asked by the Chief of Police, Uvaldo Zamora, during the last commissioners meeting. THIS WAS APPROVED, EACH ITEM WAS VOTED ON. I, Vanessa Tijerina, attempted to protest it. I was silenced. I attempted to advocate for my city. The most ironic part of it all-->> I had just addressed them in the audience section, I presented to them an article that was released that very day, January 13, 2015, by the ACLU outlining why police officers should NOT be allowed to view their footage before writing their reports. THEY APPROVED ALL THREE ITEMS IN THIS POST. They will be able to rewrite history, they will be able to make any outcome look credible by matching up the video with the outcome they want. They will be able to break the chain of custody with evidence. They will be able to get away with not archiving. I HAVE BEEN ATTEMPTING TO TELL ALL OF YOU HOW INAPPROPRIATE THEY WERE GETTING, but no body goes to the meetings. They have overstepped their boundaries. YOU TELL ME: How is approving any of these things in the best interest of the public???
