AUDITIONS THIS WEEKEND FOR AN ENGLISH PLAY (29, 30 Nov) : We, Tanariri theatres, are on the lookout for passionate theatre actors and enthusiasts to be part of our CAST and CREW for our upcoming productions. We have specific as well as general slots to fill. For specific roles, some considerable theatre training or experience is required. The following are the full range of requirements, but do give it a try even if you think you fit the basic type of character outlined. 1 - Female; should look 25-27; very good English diction; expressive eyes and graceful body language; preferably trained in classical dance; has some understanding/experience of creative discontent as a performing artiste. 2 - Male; should look 23-25; impeccable English diction; boyish looks; disarming smile; radiates a cute, lovable kind of energy; must be an exceptional performer as an actor. 3 - Male; should look 26-28; well-built; carefree body language; must be an exceptional performer as an actor. For general slots, no training or experience is required. We are willing to train you, provided you demonstrate a basic sense of appreciation and respect for the art form, coupled with a right attitude. In return, we expect a high level of eagerness and commitment on your part to learn and explore the different aspects of theatre with us (including being the production crew).
