* AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION * Raine - Female Juvenile Bearded Dragon Presumed female Approximately 13 weeks as of 19/06/13 (e.g. approximately 8 months as of 28/10/13) Eating crickets, locusts, mealworms and other live food readily along with salad including dandelion and fruit such as apple and grape as a treat. Supplemented daily with Ca powder, fortnightly with Nutrobal. Poops readily Sheds well Parasite free (wormed October 2013) This little girl came to us in mid-June (aged just 13 weeks) and has passed her assessment period. She was removed from a neglectful home along with her cage mate by a concerned member of the public. Sadly however, Raine had already lost a large portion of her tail. Fortunately all of her toes and claws are still intact. The decision was made to rehome Raine so as to separate her from her cage mate who was starting to show dominant behaviour over her. Now that Raine has received a little extra time and work from us she is now being listed for adoption once more. She has been receiving handing every day since her arrival here and her confidence has greatly increased but like any young animal she is still a little skittish at times and will require a patient owner who can bring out her personality. For this reason she is not recommended for a household with young children who will naturally wish to handle her (she is very fast when she wants to be!). We believe that Raine may now be ready for a home with older children who may wish to assist in her care. She will readily take food from your hands and have never shown any signs of aggression or dominance to the staff here. A short clip of Raine can be found on the Videos page of our website: gracesrest.co.uk/videos/ If you would like to make an expression of interest in Raine, please contact us today.
