APPALACHIAN is a two-year-old, 14-pound little Chi mix who arrived at Manhattan ACC still lactating - a sure sign of recently having given birth. Not only had her babies been taken from her, she was tossed out on the street, like a used piece of Kleenex, while someone was undoubtedly counting the money they were making on selling her puppies. APPALACHIAN is very cute and very scared (not surprising for a Chi at a shelter,) yet she actually did quite well on her behavior evaluation; well enough to be available for public adoption. All she needs is the calm and safety of a loving home, one where she will be a member of a family, instead of a money-making machine. Why dont YOU provide it for her?
