AZPW has been a little quiet the past number of month, but with the director headed in a new direction with his secular life, we are exploring a few events and wanted to gauge local interest. The first we are planning is a fundraiser to be held at a local Senior Center- we will be offering seniors (the over 65 ones, not the just about to graduate ones) a free portrait sitting that includes 1- free 5x7 print. We will be collecting donations for AZPW at the event and providing very low cost package options for additional prints. It has been my experience that after a certain age, many folks stop having portraits done, but their family members often would like a recent photo. This also gives AZPW the opportunity to record images of the local history- we are asking that any who wish to participate be prepared to offer a very brief audible bio that we will record during their session. This will be put together in a slideshow to document some of our great local stories. We have not yet committed to a location, it will depend on interest.
