Aaaaaand spoiling my minions is on top of the list for the holidays.... and they love Flapjacks :) My recipe (dont know where it comes from, but my mother has been making these since I was a youngen) 1/4 cup sugar 1 egg 1 tsp vanilla essence 1 cup flour 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 cup milk Tablespoon melted butter. Whisk together sugar and egg with vanilla essence, add dry ingredients with milk and melted butter. I fry without oil, about tablespoon full. Flip when bubbles appear. We enjoy with syrup (golden, caramel and maple) or our freshly made homemade strawberry jam :)
