Aaron Ridings (Seneca, Chickasaw) Policy Advisor and Community Liaison for Multnomah County Chair Deborah Kafoury, met with Wisdoms Rose High Bear, Amanda Kelley-Lopez, and Daniel Dixon today. Aaron visited to discuss Wisdoms past projects, current programs, and future plans for Wisdom gardens and Kelly Butte in SE Portland, habitat surveys and native plant restoration. We were also joined by Peer Mentor Carmen Fernandez, who came into the office to begin assembling her video production for Wisdoms second series of Summer Field Science Camps, conducted with NAYAs group of 9th Grade Leaders in July 2014. Aaron brought us Voodoo Doughnuts (thank you!), and left with fresh produce from Wisdom Gardens. Aaron, it was great meeting you!
