About GITXM. People think when you have a business, you make good money. Yes and no. The success rate of business is 10% to 20%. Even successful company does not make a profit for 3 years after start it. GITXM is very similar. GITXM had a lot of initial investment. And, we made few mistakes. This year might be the first year which makes a small profit, I hope. But to recover the lost for last 3 years, it may take additional 2-3 years. GITXM is not a charity company. GITXM is a regular profit oriented company who have shareholders. But a few things are different GITXM with other companies. 1) GITXM is started for the goal “Of the Gitxsan, for the Gitxsan, by the Gitxsan”. Eventually the company will own by Gitxsan people. 2) 30% of GITXM profit will be used for community, 20% for Christian mission and 10% for education. I hope once the company make a profit, the people will see this is happening. I am not a missionary. But I am a Christian who was called to help Gitxsan people. I will do my job as a business man. Currently Pastor Daniel Woo is missionary. He need many your help. Helping him is helping me. Attending or sending your children to church is helping me. I am keep looking for potential people who can build company together. One day, one of Gitxsan people becomes a real president of company who can run the company without my help.
