About enameled cast iron... I think most would agree that Le Creuset is the Rolls-Royce of enameled cast iron. Unfortunately, a new Le Creuset 4 1-/2 qt dutch oven is way out of my price range. So, I can search and find one used but it still may be out of my price range. Of course you run the risk of chips and cracks in the enamel. Or, I can take advantage of the next sale for a Lodge enameled dutch oven and have a shiny new one. So if anyone has any reviews or knowledge theyd like to share on either one they may own, Im all ears. Im just looking for a very low maintenance DO. Most of my DO cooking is with acidic foods so its been difficult to keep up the seasoning on my 5 qt Wagner.
