Absa Premiership 2013/13 opening block fixtures announced The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has released opening block fixtures of the 2013/14 Absa Premiership season. This follows an official Absa Premiership fixture draw held at the League headquarters in Parktown, Johannesburg today. Defending champions, Kaizer Chiefs will start their Absa Premiership campaign against the side that will emerge victorious in the Promotion Play-offs on the weekend of 02,03,04 August 2013. PSL General Manager of Football, Derek Blanckensee said dates and venues will be announced by the League at the earliest convenient date. “We have already started planning for the 2013/14 season and our team at the office has been working hard to ensure that plans are in place when the season kicks off. At the moment, we cannot release dates and venues as we are still consulting with the clubs and other stakeholders.” 100%
