Abubakar Sani Bello wins APC gubernatorial ticket in Niger From Fodio Ahmad Following the just concluded All Progressive Congress primary election held at the Minna trade fair complex in Niger State on Thursday, 4th December, 2014 between Senator Ibrahim Musa, Abubakar Sani Bello and Abubakar Alooma. Abubakar Sani Bello, a business mogul won the election with total votes of 3859, defeating Senator Ibrahim Musa who came second with 61 votes, Abubakar Alooma 24 votes and 18 invalid votes. In a statement by Abubakar Sani Bello, he thanked Almighty Allah for the victory, his supporters and most importantly the delegates adding that “We still have other hurdles to cross which will start from the Permanent Voters’ card (PVC) collection and run to the general election. Let’s come out en mass to get what is rightfully ours. With you, we can move Niger state to greater heights, the journey for the emancipation of Nigerlites has just begun” he noted. Speaking to a close runner of the Abubakar Sani Bello’s campaign train after the election, Mansur Waziri expressed gratitude to almighty Allah for a victorious outing and urged the supporters of Senator Ibrahim Musa and Abubakar Alooma to embrace the spirit of sportsmanship. Waziri said what he expect the two team that lost to join forces with Abubakar Sani Bello’s train in order to take over Niger state from the People’s Democratic Party “I feel excited because today’s primary election is the most free and fair primary election in the history of democracy because the delegates voted who the masses want and that shows the confidence in the leadership ideology of Abubakar Sani Bello” he noted. When asked what would be at the general poll, Mansur Waziri said “ Abubakar Sani Bello is a sellable candidate who understands the plight of the masses and for that single reason, he will emerge victorious at the general elections in 2015. It is time for PDP to be kicked out of Niger State and Abubakar Sani Bello will be the reason for that”
