Accompanist required Llantrisant Male Choir are looking for an accompanist to begin working September 2013. Ideally you should hold previous experience of accompanying, and be comfortable in playing a wide variety of music. In addition to the above, any previous conducting experience, or a desire to conduct, may also be of benefit, as you may be required (infrequently) to cover rehearsals. We are a friendly, auditioned choir of around 45 members, with a wide range of ability and age. At present we perform at around 25 engagements a year at various venues in and around South Wales. We rehearse on Monday and Wednesday evenings, 7.30pm to 9.00pm at Llantrisant Workingmen’s Club, Swan Street, CF72 8ED.
