According to initial police reports, a terrorist driving a tractor left a building site in Jerusalem, hit a pedestrian and then turned over a bus. One person was killed and a number of others were slightly injured, including the bus driver. An Israel Police officer who happened to be passing by saw what was happening and rushed to the tractor and shot the driver. Police forces are now deployed in increased numbers and are in a special state of alert across Jerusalem to ensure the publics safety.
