According to reports over the weekend, Federal Communications Commission Chariman Tom Wheeler may be changing his mind about ditching Net neutrality due to public outcry and Silicon Valley resistance. An announcement is expected later today. In the meantime, this post does a good job of explaining why the FCC was tempted to get rid of Net neutrality in the first place. Hint: It has to do with lobbyists, revolving doors and big telecom money.
