According to the Dallas Observer, Im a Mastermind. (I keep hearing Brain saying: The same thing we do every night, Pinky—try to take over the world!) Really excited to see the work of local word champions WordSpace acknowledged as well—congrats, Charles Dee Mitchell! This Saturday the Observer will present me with a check for $1,000 at Dallas Observer Artopia, the annual culture party (tickets still available!), and Carlos Alejandro Guajardo-Molina from The Wild Detectives—another local mastermind, in my opinion—will be there selling my book. Youll find him under the neon sign I had made to look like the one on the cover of my book, about which I am ridiculously excited. I think I bought a new dress just to look good for my sign, as if it *could* actually love me back.
