According to the laws of physics, when we see a color, the object - TopicsExpress

According to the laws of physics, when we see a color, the object is not that color. It is the opposite of that color. We we see something green, it means that the object has absorbed every ray of the spectrum except green, so the object reflects the green spectrum of light back to our eyes. When we see the color orange, that object absorbs every ray of the spectrum except orange. So the object reflects orange back to our eyes. The Color black absorbs all frequencies of the spectrum because it contains all frequencies of the spectrum, so it does not reflect back. However, the object like a black light illuminates all other things around it. The Color white is the absence of color so it reflects back the entire spectrum of light which makes it appear white. We really see the negative or opposite of the world instead of the actual picture of the world as it is.
