According to the mind of Marcion, he created the belief that the Creator and Father of the old testament is not the same as the Creator and Father of the New Testament in that the One in NT is more loving than the One who is told is cruel and vengeful. Its all about incorporating the idea that the Father will let his children do what they want and its ok. Is this a blueprint of what Fatherhood is, where the children can do what they want? For Marcion, its all about getting people to go against the commands and believing that you are cursed if you obey them. Its the other way around. If we dont do accordance to all that is in the Torah and commands, we will be cursed.This is found in Scripture. But if we dont believe the OT is for today we wont know this truth.
