Acquaintances and fair weather friends may come and go, but your true friends are the ones that take the time to talk, empathize, advise, and just put up with you and show compassion when you are at rock bottom, confused, hurt, scared, or otherwise a nervous wreck of a basket case. They give you support and encouragement when you need it and hard love when the situation calls for it, without fear of you ditching them because you may not like what they have to say. When they truly love and care for you, you know it and realize that even though it may not be what you want to hear at the time, you know they are right. True friends are the ones you know you can trust and who will be there for you no matter what. They take time to listen to you and let you know repeatedly that they are there for you and you can lean on them. True friends stick by you and will walk with you through your struggles and trials and will be your rock of support through it all. Here is to all the true friends out there. Thank you for being who and what you are and allowing God to minister through you to those that need it in their times of despair and feelings of defeat. That is all.
