Fearmans is appropriately named, as one of the activists France Morgan noted. On their website, it says the name was Anglicized from the original Dutch family name Veermans. Pigs are truly terrorized in the slaughterhouse, where they scream at 90 decibels, a level at which hearing loss occurs, as they are prodded with hard wired electric prods of up to 50 Volts down a narrow chute into a carbon dioxide gas chamber. The CO2 chamber is called a Butina, after the company in Denmark which manufactures 90% of the worlds CO2 gas chambers for pigs. Check out their website butina.eu/, which uses a sweet picture of baby pigs snuggling... talk about blatant misrepresentation resembling the Big Lie advanced by Nazi Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels.
