Addendum to Expedition Journal: The day is not lost. Success! Showing no further signs of malady, the good Capt. J.S. Hallman has set forth on his journey. I, Gen. J.R. Hallman, was informed upon delivering him to the Sherpas a second time that though his temperature was elevated, it was not to such a degree that they would have insisted on medical attention and documentation of good health and vigor before returning to the treacherous slopes. Further, they concurred in our estimation of the matter that any bad humours were likely merely due to dentition, and thus no concern as to the safety and welfare of his compatriots. I requested that should the facts of the situation change, they inform me via telegraph post-haste so we could tarry not to retrieve him quickly. Set forth upon his adventure, I eagerly await his retelling of what the day holds at Kidovations.
