Adele, This is part of why I want you to have an opinion on GMO food. Its only a harmless issue to those of us who are rich enough to eat virtually anything we choose, in whatever quantities we choose. For most of the world, food requires real trade-offs, and one of them happens to be enough calories vs enough vitamin A. Opposing this particular GMO crop is demanding that parents choose between risk of blindness vs stunted growth and susceptibility to infectious disease for their children.
