Saw Marcelo Hizon Durans post about his fishing sked for today Oct.28, 2014, decided to join, 1st stop was at PnW, so off I went and met bro Mar at the parking near the grotto around 7:45am, exchanged greetings and we went to the site to start casting, I tried this generic jointed lure, been casting a while on the spot fronting the stage no takers, transferred to the right side of the stage got my 1st hook up, but wasnt expecting to be snagged by the fish, he got off, transferred again nearer the stage under the ipil tree if not mistaken he he, on the 3rd cast got hooked, fish on, again it snagged my lure, was frustrated, thought it had unhook itself, tried pulling the line and was able to free my lure, lo and behold the dalag was still hooked and was able to land it. Went to where Mar and Ja Silvestre were and happily showed my catch, after the photo ops released the fish back into the pond. Continued casting with the group while chatting, then Buboy Narraboy Magpale arrived, introduced myself and after shaking hands continued casting again, suddenly it was fish on, again the fish dug itself into the ground, it stayed there as if it was snagged to a big branch, it wont budge, Buboy told me to just wait til it goes up to inhale, but it stayed too long for me to just wait, I pulled again on my line and it really just wont give in, feeling frustrated I pulled hard and it gave way, this ones bigger than the 1st one, measured it to be 20 long and took some photos for my 2nd entry. Fish was released also.
