Adventure Day 8: morning bike ride through Anastasia State Park and past the St Augustine lighthouse. Breakfast at the Sea Oats Caffe, where they boast over 25 kinds of pancakes. I opted for coconut but the special of the day was tootsie roll. Tootsie roll pancakes??? Then back on the road heading south and stopped at the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge where we saw lots of birds and animals. The highlight was an alligator laying in the middle of the road. And another making a crazy scary noise trying to scare us. Yup, I was. Ahhhh Alligator! End of day ocean swim and then in the car heading toward W. Palm. Got to the hotel in time to have a late night swim in the pool. Life is good...
