Advertisement A spat between a BPO worker and his team leader over a leave request turned into a bloody knife fight late Friday night that left two men dead and two fighting for their lives in hospital. A case of murder, attempt to murder and conspiracy has been registered at Udhyog Vihar police station against six men, including the team leader. One of them was arrested on Saturday. According to Inspector Rajinder Singh, Sunil called up his supervisor Mukesh Bisht at 2am, asking him for a day off as his wife had delivered a baby boy. Bisht refused and the two started arguing. Bisht then called Sunil to the Serco office in Udhyog Vihar right away. Sunil took along a friend and three cousins. As their Maruti Alto reached a service lane on the expressway, they saw Bisht with five other men armed with knives. As soon as the car’s occupants got down, Bisht and his cousin Pawan Banjara caught hold of them, whipped out their knives and attacked them, said Sunil’s friend Brahmprakash, an eyewitness. A little later, Sunil’s cousins Devinder and Ram Avtar lay dead at the spot. Bisht and his friends fled. A passerby called the police and a team rushed there and took the victims to hospital. Two of them are critical. “We have arrested Pawan and formed two teams to conduct raids. We have taken the address of Bisht from the BPO and asked nearby companies for CCTV footage,” said Inspector Singh. “My brother was killed by the supervisor and his brother but the main accused is yet to be arrested,” Manoj Sharma, the brother of Ram Avtar, said.
