Firefighters are responding to a fire near the Hume Freeway in the BENALLA area, near the Reef Hills State Forest. There is no threat to communities. Smoke will be visible from nearby communities and roads. The next update is expected by 31/01/14 8:00 PM or as the situation changes. Safety Information: Review your bushfire survival plan. If you do not have a plan, decide what you will do if the situation changes. If you have time check your neighbours to see if they are monitoring conditions.
