Advice needed ! Courtney has been discharged with appendix still in tact. After being in ED long enough for 3 shift change overs the third doctor said that they were not completely confident that it was her appendix. Sent home with the advice that if the pain got worse to come back. The pain has not got worse but is shifting and she now has pain in her back. right behind the pain at the front right side. To scared to book a ticket home yet as have heard from other peoples experience that it can sometimes take a while to get worse again. Bit like the calm before the storm. Has anyone else been through appendix pain like this and what ended up happening? I dont want to be a drama queen but I also do not trust ED doctors 100%.
