Aeration is key to a healthy and organic lawn! I spoke with Brian Joyce of Schmidts and Serafines about aeration yesterday. There are some new and exciting tools out there to save money and time. The new eXmark stand on Aerator seen in the photos below can aerate 2 acres per hour, has a hydraulic piston with up to 1200 lbs of down pressure, a zero turn capacity, can pull a plug up to 4.5 inches, and can aerate the most compacted of soils. This is great for large estates, athletic fields, and those with a high volume of lawns to aerate.
