If indeed it is the oldest historical remains in South East Asia, the issue of who are the sons of the soil becomes open to debate. I suppose that will be politically inconvenient for UMNO and it will be their interest to demolish and extinguish that site. But that issue should be a non-issue if we regard all as Malaysians and provide based on needs and merits but we all know that UMNO cannot afford to subscribe to that political philosophy or platform because that will kill them. They survive on conflicts and divides between the people. Thats why the country is in a mess.
