After 2 long and very difficult years, I am proud to say that today I am beginning a new career as a New York State Auditor. I cant help but not think about all of the countless hours applying for jobs, posting resumes, going on interviews etc. All of the people who told me No, you dont have enough accounting experience Youre not a CPA, Ill keep your resume on file etc. No After No. Let alone the stress, feelings of failure, doubt, hurt, sadness. All of those nos, and all it takes is 1 YES.. One person to like you, one person to give you a chance. 2 long years to get to this point. Day 1. When I reflect briefly, this video clip, and words come to mind.
