After I got back from St Augustine today, I was perusing the face book network and saw some videos of Corps this weekend playing their Theme songs or Corps songs. Mag 7, NY NY, William Tell, Rumps, etc. And that happened at the show last night with Atlanta CV and Sun Devils singing and/or playing theirs. To me that was what always defined each Corps. I later found this video of what I always considered being Heat Waves theme song. We played this in many variations , but thru out the years it was always somewhere inserted. Listen to the 2003 Championship recording if you have it, the last hit of the show had it inserted and it was played LOUD , PROUD and noticeable...When ever I heard it, it would always give a great memory , a little lump in the throat, and always relate to those that wore the uniform. I found a couple really good versions on the internet , but found this to be then closest one to what Chris Sharp arranged for us from the beginning.
